A truck wreck Friday morning snarled traffic on Windermere Parkway at Buford Highway, leaving residents searching for another way to their homes. 

 The truck, carrying a load of gravel, overturned when the driver came around the corner from Buford Highway eastbound on to Windermere Parkway too fast, said investigators on the scene.  The load shifted, and the truck flipped, blocking the roadway.

The driver, who appeared to have minor injuries, refused treatment at the scene. 

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which left Windermere Parkway closed for about 3 hours.
